Internal Communications Manager

To support our HR & Services Division, FIFA is looking to recruit a highly organised and service oriented person as an Internal Communications Manager, 100% (Temporary 1 year assignment)


Your duties


  • Develop and implement ad-hoc engagement campaigns and projects that inform, engage employees in the FIFA’s vision and priorities, and further drive an employee centric culture
  • Manage an always-on editorial calendar that promotes the FIFA vision, strategy, purpose and culture. It includes content creation, planning, commissioning, briefing, writing, editing, approval and production
  • Guide internal stakeholders in defining and achieving their communications goals with internal communities
  • Manage, animate and further develop the FIFA’s internal communication channels bringing to life FIFA’s strategy and vision, exploring and implementing new platforms and tools to enhance internal activities
  • Manage the internal communication inbox and reply timely to senders
  • Support the creation of processes, guidelines and governance models to ensure consistent and high-quality internal messaging across FIFA
  • Support the organization of employee events, including town hall meetings, webinars, workshops, and presentation



Our requirements


  • University degree, sports related qualification a distinct advantage (eg FIFA Master)
  • Proven experience in initiating and rolling out campaigns and initiatives with the key emphasis on internal communications for sporting events or sports agency environment
  • Adept at implementing and managing channels (including intranet, social media and other digital platforms) to meet the needs of a varied audience
  • Graphic designer and video editor experience
  • Excellent English copywriting, editing and storytelling skills
  • English mother tongue, any additional languages a plus
  • Strategic thinker, ability to work in a high-energy, high expectation and team-oriented global culture
  • Ability to manage key stakeholders
  • Approachable, diplomatic and adaptable to changing demands and deadlines
  • Perfect understanding of global football activities
