Senior Legal Platform Manager

To support our Legal & Compliance Division, FIFA is looking to recruit an innovative and solution driven person as a Senior Legal Platform Manager.


Your duties

  • Primarily responsible for the success of the FIFA Agent Platform and liaising with its developers, administrators and key users
  • Designing and managing the internal processes necessary for the agent licensing procedures administered by FIFA
  • Leading the remote delivery of the football agent web exam across all FIFA member associations
  • Creating IT solutions for the modernisation and improvement of football and match agent licensing systems administered by FIFA
  • Continuously training and educating staff of member associations on the use of the FIFA Agent Platform and using their feedback to improve the exam delivery
  • Managing licensing applications through the FIFA Agent Platform (e.g. processing applications, responding to external inquiries, communications, processing payments and insurance requirements)
  • Leading the department’s activities in assessing the FIFA Transfer Matching System and FIFA Agent Platform data
  • Leading legal and IT projects relating to the activities of football and match agents
  • Investigating compliance with FIFA regulations and reporting the findings to the relevant departments
  • Drafting circulars and legal and IT correspondence for member associations and external parties
  • Handling legal disputes between member associations, clubs, players, coaches and agents in the FIFA dispute resolution system

 

Our requirements

  • Degree in sports law and management
  • Advanced academic and professional experience in the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine-learning systems
  • Minimum of ten years’ combined experience in sports law and dispute resolution systems, football stakeholder management and project management
  • Certification in and extensive experience of project management: experience of working on software development projects would be an asset
  • Experience and knowledge of football dispute resolution procedures or case management incl.  the international football transfer market
  • Good understanding of FIFA’s regulations resp. football regulatory framework, sports technology and eSports fields
  • Technical expertise in IT, the FIFA Transfer Matching System, Jira, SharePoint and Confluence tools and MS Office
  • Fluent in English, any other FIFA language would be an asset
  • Critical judgement skills, committed to ethics and transparency in sport
  • Great attitude and ability to work independently
  • Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail
  • Alert, quick to respond, service-oriented
  • Proactive and curious mindset
