Senior Coordinator, Host City Commercial Operations, FIFA World Cup 2026
Reporting organizationally to the Executive Director of Host Cities, and on the daily to the Host City Commercial Operations (HCCO) Management team. The Senior Coordinator will work in close collaboration with the larger Commercial Operations team and other key individuals responsible for ensuring all rights granted by FIFA to Host Cities are executed and managed accordingly.
THE POSITION
The main responsibilities and oversights of the Host City Commercial Operations, Senior Coordinator role for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ include:
- Work with Host Cities and FIFA Commercial Sales & Partnership teams to build out commercial rights to be granted to or by Host Cities. Aid Host Cities in fundraising efforts by facilitating approvals on all project-based points.
- Ensure that FIFA rights and assets are leveraged correctly and work with FIFA functional areas & Host Committees to build auxiliary events and revenue opportunities.
- Ensure that any Official Host City Supporter deals are contracted by and signed off by FIFA Commercial Legal and HCCO Management. Aid Host Cities in partnership fulfillment by maintaining Host City CRM.
- Create cross-collaborative environment with FIFA Commercial Sales & Partnerships, Commercial Legal, Licensing & Retail, Brand & Marketing, FIFA Films & Content Production, Digital, Communications, Fan Festivals, FIFA Trophy Tour, amongst others.
- Establish and manage the administration of working groups with all stakeholders establishing mechanisms to manage and resolve issues.
- Work with HCCO Managers to review and approve all Host City licensing premiums upon submission.
- Work across various business platforms to help organize and track all aspects of HCCO business projects.
- Help build presentations for internal use cases and Executive team needs.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree or similar higher education
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven track-record in managing complex projects
- Experience in the Sports industry an advantage
- International or experience working in organizations with international offices/staff
- Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and planning software and online collaboration tools. Knowledge of Monday.com is a plus.
