THE POSITION
Sitting within the Operations Department (alongside Fan Operations, Venue Management, Team Services, Media Operations, Broadcast Operations and Competition Management), Dressing and Signage aims to deliver the most outstanding look and feel project in event history.
Reporting to the Manager, Dressing & Wayfinding Signage (Canada), the Coordinator, Dressing & Wayfinding Signage (Canada) will be a fundamental member of the team responsible for delivering the Dressing and Signage project for FIFA Club World Cup 2025 and FIFA World Cup 2026.
The successful candidate will be supporting the planning and delivery of the Dressing, wayfinding and signage implementation at the two FIFA World Cup 2026 stadiums in Canada and will support, as required, other FIFA events such as the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.
This role will execute key project deliverables to deadline within their cluster as directed and will be required to input into strategic project decisions taken by senior members of the team. This role will facilitate the operations of the contracted provider within their cluster, including acting as the point of contact for all administrative requirements for stadium access.
In addition, this role will take guidance from other Dressing & Wayfinding Signage Cluster Managers to ensure the precedents and strategic directives from the Head of Dressing and Signage and the Director, Stadium and Venue Management - Canada are followed as required.
The main responsibilities of the Coordinator, Dressing & Wayfinding Signage include:
- Contribute to the delivery of a world class dressing and wayfinding signage project for all target groups attending matches at the FIFA World Cup 2026.
- Supporting the turnkey planning and delivery of dressing and wayfinding signage at two stadiums and multiple non competition venues in Canada.
- Event time management of dressing and wayfinding signage activities at some non-competition venues local to the allocated host cities for FIFA World Cup 2026.
- Inputting into the operation of the wayfinding signage system(s) used to assist with the planning and scoping of the project.
- Participating in the dressing and wayfinding signage planning, scoping and implementation at stadiums and non-competition venues in Canada including the management of the appointed supplier.
- Responsible for administrative tasks within the cluster as directed by the Cluster Manager and Director, Stadium and Venue Management (Canada).
- Daily liaison with other members of the wider dressing and wayfinding signage team to ensure efficient planning and delivery is optimised at all stages of the project.
- Liaising with stadium owners and operators as required to gain approval for stadium access.
- Presenting to senior team members, management and other FIFA World Cup 2026 functional areas as and when required.
- Attending domestic and if required, international, department-specific and organization site visits at assigned stadiums and other stadiums or official sites.
- Inputting into the site-specific dressing strategies utilising expertise from previous events and directives from management.
- Participating in the creative design process for stadiums within the assigned cluster.
- Working with internal FIFA functional areas to ensure their needs are captured and delivered within the assigned cluster.
- Work with non-competition cluster managers on the planning and delivery of dressing and signage activities at non-competition venues located in Canada, as required and directed by senior members of the team.
- Travel within Canada, to the US and/or Mexico may be required to reflect the business needs of the department (meetings, workshops, site visits, other Events, etc)
- Other duties as assigned.

Work Experience
- Minimum 1 year of tangible experience in delivering wayfinding signage projects for events of a similar scale to FIFA World Cup 2026 (e.g. previous FIFA World Cups, Olympic Games etc.) or a minimum 2 years experience delivering major sports events in a role that included some delivery of comprehensive dressing and wayfinding signage related activities.
- Experience in using technical guidelines for dressing and wayfinding signage kit of parts for large-scale events.
- Some understanding of the technical aspects of delivering dressing and wayfinding signage projects (i.e. production methods, installation techniques, materials etc.)
- Budget management experience on complex and multi-faceted events and projects.
- Experience in managing providers of services for world-class events or projects.
- Knowledge of event planning, requirements and event project management processes for large sporting events.
- Experience in the development and integration of operational plans.
- Some Stakeholder Coordination and Liaison experience across multiple organisations and departments.
Languages
- Fluent in English. French proficiency is a plus.
Technology
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
- The role will require extensive use of the appointed Dressing and Signage Supplier(s) project, content and scoping management systems so a readiness to learn new technology processes, systems and programs is essential.
