Coordinator, Stadium Technical, FIFA World Cup 2026

Reporting organisationally to the Technical Manager, the Technical Coordinator will be a key member of the FIFA26 Infrastructure & Technical Services team, and work in close collaboration with other key individuals responsible for planning and delivery of the audio, video, and lighting solutions at all FIFA World Cup 2026 sites.

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities and oversights of the Technical Coordinator for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ include:  
  • Working with key Functional Area team members to refine their audio, video, and lighting requirements at stadiums and other official sites.
  • Serving as the liaison between consultants, vendors, stadiums, and other FIFA World Cup 2026 sites and the infrastructure team.
  • Working with the stadium engineering teams to ensure the seamless delivery of the audio, video, and lighting solutions. 
  • Tracking, monitoring, and coordinating the progress and quality of the audio, video, and lighting setup ensuring it is in line with FIFA requirements.
  • Working with training- and other official sites to ensure compliance with FIFA Standards.
  • Conducting on-site visits, when necessary, to meet with stadium personnel, and vendors to coordinate, review, and assist with the implementation of audio, video, and lighting solutions across all FIFA official sites.

YOUR PROFILE

Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or similar
Work Experience
  • Planning and delivering audio, video, and lighting solutions at large scale sport-, corporate- or music events
  • Planning and delivering audio, video, and lighting solutions at Stadiums
  • Knowledge of US market in regards to technical infrastructure vendors
Languages
  • Fluent in English. Spanish proficiency is a plus
Technology
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
