Working at FIFA

FIFA is a truly diverse, modern and multicultural organisation and its primary purpose is to promote football.
Over 800 people from 50 nations – 40 per cent of which are women, including the Secretary General – covering a wide variety of professional profiles, work to fulfil that purpose.

Our culture is shaped by fair play, team spirit, diversity, sustainability, transparency and innovation.
We live by these values. Regardless of race, religion, national origin, colour, age, disability,
marital status, sexual orientation or citizenship – we support diversity; indeed, we consider it to be key to our success.

We are looking for talented and motivated team members who would embrace these values every day, with purpose, passion and pride, in order to make a positive impact on the world of football and beyond.

We offer a unique and exciting work environment with great opportunities for your personal and professional development.

Living Football

Living Football is...

A commitment to the game
A commitment to the people
A commitment to the planet
A commitment to the future

It is what we do. It is why we are here.

  • "I work in the Tournaments & Events Division and am currently responsible for organising FIFA’s women’s tournaments. I feel privileged to have worked around the world on all continents and I enjoy working with an array of different cultures, from whom I am always learning. I thoroughly enjoy the international sporting environment and my job has a wide spectrum of varied and interesting tasks which ensures that my personal knowledge building is on-going. Working at FIFA has given me many positive and memorable experiences, which for a football fan like me is very rewarding."
  • "Working in FIFA is definitely fascinating, my motto has always been that a flat sea has never made an experienced sailor. The path of change that we are experiencing in this era is certainly interesting from the point of view of skills that are constantly updated and from the point of view of human collaboration. FIFA is a stimulating journey of maturity that takes me every day to confront my limits and to refine my leadership model. Meeting different cultures, getting to know different people, pushes me to a constant evolutionary tension."

  • “Football has been my passion for as long as I can remember and I have been extremely lucky to be able to pursue this passion as a career. What I love about working for FIFA is that I can now pass on my enthusiasm and the experience I gained as a professional athlete, as well as communicate the values of football and FIFA to the outside world.”
